SCHOOL OF THE SPOKEN WORD

The project is about exploring the word in a creative way, such as poetry and music writing. The intension of this project is to bridge the gap between the two as they can be seen as two sides of a coin. In the same manner, the school also operates as a community centre with facilities such as the library and performance space that is shared between the students and locals, to foster collaboration, exchange of knowledge and skills and overall increased well-being for a more integrated society. The building is set on windmill park around beautiful landscape with opportunities to take the learning outside the classroom in many of the dedicated outdoor areas. To summarise, the aims of this project has been to encourage the sense of living in the present in symbiosis as a tool for improved well-being - both socially through the people, but also in the physical form of the designs and the landscape.
