Providing a facility that displays climate-responsive urban food production to educate the community and visitors through a Vertical Farm building that boosts the economy within Liverpool and allows everyone to have access to basic food needs. Being a timber and GFRC free-form building achieving Net-Zero Carbon regulated and BREEAM outstanding. An off-grid building using the latest photovoltaic technology and methods, with a greater performance by 30-53% than a cube-shaped building.

The BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology course is a professionally-focused gateway to a career in to the architectural industry. Students explore how buildings are created, procured, constructed, and managed, and develop a practical and imaginative approach to design through a project-based learning experience.
